Palmar Beach Lodge - Bocas del Toro

Palmar Beach Lodge is located on the famous Red Frog Beach, within walking distance of the Bastimentos National Marine Park. The property features an on-site bar, restaurant, and a lounge. Wi-Fi is available forguests. Daily yoga classes are offered in the on-site studio.

The property offers individual beds in private rooms and dormitories. Each private room has a lamp, fan, locker, and welcome kit. The property has a bar and full service restaurant with views of the ocean. There are free daily activities offered forguests, as well as a wide selection of organized tours.

An array of activities can be enjoyed on-site or in the surroundings, including daily yoga, bonfires, snorkeling, sailing, zipline, volleyball, hiking, and diving.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

-Palmar Beach Lodge is currently undergoing renovations and construction in our restaurant area through April 2025. These improvements are designed to offer you a better experience in the future, with modernized spaces and new facilities unique to the Bocas del Toro archipelago.


During this period there will be construction between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm, Monday to Saturday, which may cause inconvenience, primarily from noise. However,services will remain fully operational with alternative beachfront dining areas. We will do everything possible to minimize the impact on your experience and maintain our high standards of service. For guests that plan to go out and explore during the daytime, such as exploringof the nearby beaches, hikes, tours, etc, impact will be minimal or none. To compensate,reservations alreadya 30% discount off our regular rates.

Rainforest Tent - Two Double Beds. This tent is 4 square metres and each private tent has hardwood floors and furniture. ;

Island Bungalow with AC. Each spacious unit is equipped with a private bathroom, kitchenette, sofa, queen bed, porch, 42" Smart LED TV, and ceiling fan. Units are available with or without air conditioning. ;
Rainforest Tent - Queen. This tent is 9 square meters with hardwood floor and furniture handmade from local wood. ;
Beach Cabana. The spacious double room features a private entrance, a seating area, a terrace with garden views as well as a private bathroom boasting a shower. The unit has 1 bed. ;
Spacious Jungle Apartment. This spacious apartment includes 1 living room, 3 separate bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. In the well-fitted kitchen, guests will find a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and an oven.
